Arts and Museum Administration USNH Employees should apply within Workday through the Jobs Hub app The Director assumes responsibility for writing the script, interfacing with Plymouth Parks and Recreation, approving the poster and graphics, and assisting with marketing. In addition, the Director works to locate staff and to organize the overall experience at the Camp. Once the Camp begins, the Director is responsible for working with the staff to ensure a positive experience for staff and children. The Director auditions and casts the children and directs the production, making sure the children are prepared for performance. Duties/Responsibilities Artistic Duties (50%) Create script for performance
Work with graphic designer to create poster and promotional materials
Approve set used for production
Cast the actors appropriately in roles
Work with children and creative staff to create a successful musical production Organizational Duties (25%) Assist with hiring of artistic staff
Create rehearsal schedules
Coordinate with Flying Monkey in terms of needs for production
Work with graphic designer to create program
Communicate with staff prior to and during camp to ensure a smooth week Interpersonal Duties (25%) Provide a safe and nurturing environment for young children
Work with staff in a positive and constructive manner
Communicate respectfully and positively with Parents

Flying Monkey Staff Minimum Qualifications Minimum Acceptable Education & Experience:
Master’s degree
Ten or more years’ experience working with young people ages 8-16
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Knowledge of how to block and pace a performance
Ability to encourage young performers with little experience
Knowledge of how to work with choreographers and music directors successfully
Ability to see a project through to completion
Various soft skills including strong communication, flexibility, and artistic sensibility
