Pottery Studio Clay Finisher Petro Mold Company Waterford, PA 16441 Job Overview We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Greenware Clay Finisher to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for finishing cast pottery in the air dry stage, ensuring that all elements are polished and ready for firing and glaze. This role requires a strong eye for detail and the ability to adapt between different clay bodies and tools. Ideal candidate could also work with other departments including glazing and customer service at our gallery in Erie. Duties Remove seam lines and smooth each cast piece prior to firing. Prioritize projects by group and deadlines Work with the casting department as needed Work with kiln loading and unloading / packaging Assist with liquid clay packaging Apply base glaze to soft-fired pieces Provide assistance at our stoneware gallery in Erie as needed. Reliable transportation will be required. Qualifications Any previous art experience is preferred but not necessary.
