Active Top Secret (TS) with Full Scope Polygraph RedSky is seeking a skilled Mid-Level Audio/Visual (A/V) Technician with experience in video streaming operations to support our Department of Justice (DOJ) customer’s mission-critical activities that include telecommunications initiatives. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of A/V room systems in secure enterprise environments. Responsibilities:
The A/V Technician is responsible for supporting all aspects of audio-visual operations, including technical design, installation, configuration, and operation of sophisticated AV systems and video streaming platforms. This role requires expertise in AV setup, performing routine preventative and corrective maintenance, digital audio/video recording, and post-production editing. The technician works independently with significant discretion and is responsible for developing and tailoring technical solutions in response to changing customer needs. Travel to various locations to install and troubleshoot A/V systems. Provide Tier 3/4 support for A/V device installation and troubleshooting across all enterprise enclaves. Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain A/V room systems; provide break/fix support as needed. Troubleshoot PC-related issues, including audio and video connectivity. Coordinate and schedule activities with the Audio Video Support Center (AVSC).
Required Skills/Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Minimum of three (3) years of experience installing and troubleshooting complex A/V room systems. Working knowledge of data wiring standards and best practices. Proficiency in Microsoft Office 2013 and later, and Windows 7 and newer operating systems. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, especially in fast-paced or high-pressure environments. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and strong organizational abilities. Preferred Certifications include Creston CTS or CTS-I
