Audio/Video Technician AV Pro communications LLC Pell City, AL 35128 Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Audio Visual Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of audio-visual systems in Residential and commercial environments . This role requires a strong understanding of cabling, low voltage systems, and mechanical knowledge to ensure optimal performance of AV equipment. The Audio Visual Technician will work closely with clients to deliver high-quality service and support. Duties Install, configure, and maintain audio-visual equipment including projectors, sound systems, and video conferencing tools. Perform cabling tasks and ensure proper connections for low voltage systems. Troubleshoot software and hardware issues related to AV systems. Utilize hand tools and electrical testing equipment such as voltmeters to diagnose problems. Read and interpret schematics to assist in the installation and repair processes. Provide field service support to clients, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues. Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and service calls. Experience Proven experience in audio-video or a related field is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work with various hand tools and electrical components. Familiarity with cabling techniques and low voltage installations is essential. Experience in software troubleshooting for AV systems is a plus. Ability to read schematics and implement solutions based on technical diagrams. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
