We are seeking a skilled Low Voltage Integration Technician to join our team. As a leading provider in the integration industry specializing in Crestron, Control4, Lutron, LED Lighting, Home Theaters, Cat6 Wiring, I.T. Racks, CCTV, and Access Control systems, we are committed to delivering top-notch solutions to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in low voltage systems installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance, with a focus on rack management. Responsibilities:

Prioritize and specialize in rack management including setup, organization, and maintenance of I.T. racks for our clients’ systems. Install, configure, and integrate low voltage systems including Crestron, Control4, Lutron, LED Lighting, Home Theaters, Cat6 Wiring, CCTV, and Access Control according to project specifications and industry standards. Collaborate with project managers, designers, and clients to understand project requirements and objectives. Conduct site surveys to assess existing infrastructure and identify installation requirements. Mount equipment, run wiring, and terminate connections ensuring neat and organized installations within I.T. racks. Conduct system testing and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues promptly. Provide technical support and assistance to clients and end-users as needed. Document installation processes, configurations, and changes for future reference. Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and best practices related to low voltage integration systems, with a focus on rack management. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or training in low voltage systems preferred. Proven experience in rack management and installing and configuring low voltage systems such as Crestron, Control4, Lutron, LED Lighting, Home Theaters, Cat6 Wiring, CCTV, and Access Control. Strong understanding of networking principles and protocols. Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and diagrams. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex systems. Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and craftsmanship. Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and prioritize tasks effectively. Familiarity with relevant tools, equipment, and software used in low voltage installations. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in a similar role within the integration or home automation industry. Knowledge of audio/video systems, structured cabling, and security systems.
