This role is for the candidate who is passionate about all things audio visual, technical and above all, is led by the spirit and His perfect will for the Calvary Chapel Plantation Technology Team. This person has the ability to understand immediate and long-range goals of the vision for Calvary Chapel and the Plantation Regional Campus as a whole. Convinced a relationship with Jesus changes everything in a person’s life Committed to keeping your family as your first ministry Dedicated in your personal study of God’s Word Consistently placing a high priority on worship and your personal prayer life An excellent and generous steward of your personal finances Obedient to God to take a Sabbath and make space for soul-keeping Deeply compassionate towards people who are in need or hurting Excited about global missions and local outreach – you want to change the world A part of a healthy friendship community and accountability circle Willing to give up personal pleasures and freedoms in order to live a life above reproach and that is aligned with our Leadership Covenant An emotionally healthy and growing follower of Jesus Committed to working on a team Able to develop, train, and empower people who have an aptitude in areas of production and technology An organized and effective leader and communicator Experienced and knowledgeable in areas of production, technology, audio, video, and lighting You will: (20%) Recruit, lead, shepherd, train and develop Calvary Chapel Plantation Production Volunteer Team (audio, lighting, video, staging, etc.) (10%) Maintain, operate, and understand all production equipment church-wide (audio, lighting, video, etc.) (10%) Manage and Shepherd other technical employees for campus ministries (Students, kids, Etc.) (10%) Develop and manage a long term plan for equipment installation, updates and maintenance church-wide. (10%) Stay current on best practices and innovations in the production and technology arenas. (10%) Provide input and creative ideas to enhance Wednesday and Weekend gatherings in the areas of stage design and technology. (30%) Partner with Calvary Chapel FTL Technical team members by relationship and service and help with Events at the Ft. Lauderdale Campus.

You have:

A high level of experience working with Audio & Production equipment as well as a working knowledge of modern church production techniques and equipment Experience mixing live audio for church services or productions. Great people skills The ability to train, develop, and equip a team of individuals to help assist and run the production of church services The ability to project manage, organize, prioritize, and multi-task. The ability to quickly troubleshoot and find solutions for and technical problems that arise during a live service Strong understanding of God’s Word An open flexible schedule and will be able to travel for ministry needs Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize What you are required to know: We are an EEO employer. You may have to bend, sit or stand for prolonged periods of time, lift, pull, push and/or move up to 45 lbs. This is a full-time (40 hours/week) hourly, non-exempt position. You may have to work evenings and/or weekends to assist with special events or emergencies.

Work Schedule:

Works on weekends. Staff culture is important to what we do. To love like family, we require all staff to attend all staff meetings, department meetings and serve with a willing heart especially at all major campus events. Serve at Ft. Lauderdale Campus Full time (40 hours/week)
