The Audio Visual Break/Fix Technician (AVBT) maintains and isresponsible for the support and repairs of all AV equipment withinfully integrated conference rooms, boardrooms other similar roomscontaining AV equipment. The AVBT interfaces directly with thecustomer on a daily basis and is responsible for maintaining thefunctionality of all AV components and integrated conference roomequipment.
Essential Functions:
” Performs preventative maintenance to insure equipment and room isready for use ” Responsible for identifying defective/failed equipment and ownsissues until resolved ” Works in cooperation with client and AVI?SPL support teams toprovide remediation Primary interface to manufacturers, developers,engineers and project managers in support of identifying andimplementing resolutions for highly complex system issues ” Performs remote troubleshooting for local and regionaloffices ” Provides reports and adheres to service levels as agreed upon
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
” Able to perform routine maintenance and problem diagnosis forprojectors, microphones, speakers, amplifiers and LCD/PlasmaDisplays ” Ability to perform advanced AV related testing andtroubleshooting ” Can read and utilize blue prints and audio/video flow diagrams Weare an equal employment opportunity employer and will consider allqualified candidates without regard to disability or protectedveteran status.
