Audio/Video/Lighting and Media Specialist Purpose:
The Audio/Video/Lighting Coordinator of St Andrew’s United Methodist Church will assist in achieving the vision of the Church by utilizing Audio/Video/Lighting and Photography production to engage people in a lifestyle of worship. This is accomplished through personal support as well as training volunteers in support of this mission.

It is anticipated that it will take approximately 15 – 20 hours per week to fulfill the requirements of this position. Specific hours will be scheduled according to the needs of the church worship services, rehearsals, and necessary staff/planning meetings and the availability of the Audio/ Video /Lighting Coordinator.
Responsibilities:
To work directly with the Senior Pastors, Worship Arts, and others to personally execute assigned responsibilities: Recruit, train, maintain, schedule, and oversee an A/V/L team of volunteers Know where all equipment is located and periodically inventory to ensure its availability Maintain and test all associated equipment (at least once every 30 days) to ensure its functionality; obtain repairs or replacements as authorized Set up, operate, and tear down audio and video equipment currently in use in the Sanctuary as well as the Family Life Center (FLC) including, but not limited to: Microphones, both corded and wireless; sound speakers both main and monitors; video screens, projectors, and video monitors Recording and lighting equipment Operate sound boards in sanctuary for all uses including, but not limited to: Sound and video requirements for Sunday worship services and any other special services/programs; Set up and support visiting music groups or other special groups requiring audio/video/lighting assistance Be available or have a team member available for any special events that require A/V/L support Provide computer support/integration for the audio/video presentations and equipment utilization Prepare for Praise Team rehearsals, Access weekly set lists, MP3s or other digital media and charts found in Planning Center; Ensure that all lyrics are preloaded in the system so that changes can be readily made; Be available for last minute equipment adjustments, difficulties or changes; Work with Director of Communications to create and integrate social media content. Provide planning, coordination and tracking for the budgetary needs of the position. Other duties as assigned.
