The primary function of our Regional Service Technician I is to assist with and provide vacuum system installation, operation and maintenance and/or repair services for assigned vacuum sewer systems within or outside of a specific region or assigned Customer(s). Travel up to 70% of the time based on customer needs, including international travel, may be required. Duties & Responsibilities Assists with and provides field service during vacuum system installations. Assists with and rebuilds, repairs, and performs maintenance on vacuum collection system components. Accurately tests and inspects components to ensure proper operation of units. Communicates and interacts with department staff, municipal personnel, homeowners, contractors, customers, engineers, and others. Assists with diagnosing, troubleshooting, and conducting repairs on systems. Assists with system evaluations/efficiency testing. Accurately documents detail-specific service in CRM software. Performs various other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Manager. Required Skills High School Diploma or GED. Associates Degree or Technical Certificate preferred. 1+ years’ experience in field service, underground construction, or related field. Electrical experience preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent time management and organizational skills with willingness to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to read and interpret instructions, assembly orders, and mechanical drawings. Software proficiency to include Windows and Microsoft Office. Salesforce experience preferred. Required PPE Steel-toed/Composite-toed shoes, hard hat, safety vest, etc. will be provided as needed.
