Tampa, FL 33606 We are seeking a Level 1 AV Installer to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for someone passionate about technology and home automation, eager to grow their skills in the AV industry. As a Level 1 AV Installer, you will assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of smart home AV systems, including home theaters, multi-room audio, video distribution, lighting control, and security systems. Key Responsibilities Assist senior installers and technicians with AV system installations in residential settings. Install and configure audio, video, and network wiring, including running and terminating cables. Mount AV equipment such as TVs, projectors, speakers, and control panels. Test, troubleshoot, and ensure proper functionality of AV systems. Perform basic system configuration and programming as directed. Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working order. Provide support during site surveys and system designs. Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure satisfaction. Follow company safety protocols and industry standards. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience running low voltage and making terminations. Familiarity with hand tools and power tools; ability to use tools safely and effectively. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies. Good communication and customer service skills. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and work on ladders or in confined spaces. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Preferred Experience . Familiarity with smart home systems like Crestron, Josh, Control4, or Savant is advantageous but not required.
