The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of audio-visual equipment in various settings. This role requires a strong understanding of low voltage systems, electrical components, and mechanical knowledge to ensure high-quality audio and visual experiences for our clients. Duties Install, configure, and maintain audio-visual equipment including projectors, sound systems, and video conferencing tools. Troubleshoot software and hardware issues related to audio-visual systems. Utilize hand tools and electrical equipment to perform installations and repairs. Read and interpret schematics to ensure proper setup and functionality of AV systems. Conduct regular maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with team members to execute AV setups for events, meetings, and presentations. Provide technical support during events to resolve any issues that may arise promptly. Skills Proficient in low voltage wiring and electrical systems. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to use hand tools effectively. Experience with electrical and instrumentation (E & I) practices is preferred. Familiarity with software troubleshooting techniques for AV systems. Ability to maintain equipment and perform routine inspections using tools like voltmeters. Competence in reading schematics for installation purposes. Knowledge of computer hardware relevant to audio visual setups is a plus.
