Position Overview:

As an AV Technician, you’ll play an essential role in ensuring successful event production through equipment setup, operation, and breakdown. You’ll work directly with clients on-site, representing Miami Sound Rental and ensuring every production goes off without a hitch.

Key Responsibilities:

Install and set up audio-visual equipment at scheduled events Break down and return equipment to the warehouse after events Act as the on-site point of contact for clients, addressing AV needs and questions Collaborate with Supervisors and team to ensure flawless event execution Load, unload, and transport equipment, securing items safely for transport Drive company vehicles to and from event sites Ensure the safe and proper use of all equipment Uphold Miami Sound Rental’s mission, vision, and culture with professional, client-focused service

Requirements:

No experience necessary; training provided (prior AV or event experience is a plus) Positive attitude and enthusiasm for live events Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Ability to safely lift and transport AV equipment We do not allow employees to work as AV freelancers or with other AV production companies during employment with us. (We do allow part-time employees to work as musicians, at recording studios, bartending or other positions that do not directly compete with the services we provide)
