Audio-Visual Services We are seeking a reliable and skilled Audio-Visual Driver Technician to join our dynamic team in Orlando, Florida. This role combines technical expertise with transportation responsibilities, supporting our AV operations by delivering, setting up, and maintaining audio-visual equipment for events, installations, and client locations throughout Central Florida. Key Responsibilities Equipment Transportation & Logistics Safely transport audio-visual equipment to and from various venues, including corporate offices, hotels, convention centers, and event spaces Load and unload equipment using proper lifting techniques and protective measures Maintain accurate delivery schedules and coordinate with project managers and clients Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Technical Support Assist with setup and breakdown of AV systems including projectors, screens, sound systems, lighting, and video conferencing equipment Perform basic troubleshooting and equipment testing Support senior technicians during complex installations and live events Maintain equipment inventory and perform routine maintenance checks Customer Service Represent the company professionally at client locations Communicate effectively with venue staff and event coordinators Provide basic technical support and guidance to end users Document any equipment issues or client feedback Required Qualifications Valid Florida driver’s license with clean driving record (CDL preferred but not required) 2+ years of experience with audio-visual equipment or related technical field Physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in various environments Basic understanding of AV systems, cables, and connections Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends High school diploma or equivalent Preferred Qualifications Experience with video conferencing systems (Zoom Rooms, Microsoft Teams, etc.) Knowledge of networking basics and IP-based AV systems Previous experience in event production or technical services Bilingual capabilities (English/Spanish) What We Offer Competitive salary range: $45,000 – $55,000 annually Comprehensive health, and dental 401 (k) with company matching Paid time off and holiday pay Professional development and training opportunities Company vehicle and fuel card for work-related travel Opportunity for advancement within a growing AV services team About Orlando’s AV Market Orlando’s thriving tourism, convention, and corporate sectors provide diverse opportunities to work with cutting-edge technology across theme parks, luxury resorts, convention centers, and Fortune 500 companies.
