Job Description

Audio Visual Technician 3.9 3.9 out of 5 stars Orlando, FL 32801 GrayRobinson, a full-service law and government consulting firm with 16 offices in Florida and Washington, D.C. is seeking an Audio-Visual Technician in our Orlando office. Primary duties include supporting the technology needs of internal and external meetings and events. This role monitors and supports common meeting collaboration tools such as WebEx, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, etc. Assists with resource scheduling using the firm’s scheduling application and performs routine AV maintenance on all assigned systems, while ensuring dedicated room equipment is tested and functional at all times. Position requires two years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within a professional services environment. Successful candidate must have advanced level knowledge of software and hardware associated with audio and video conferencing, both computer and H.323/room-based systems, as well as experience with video editing software. This position also entails working with the PC Support team to provide level 2 IT support for laptops, desktops, and other IT equipment, and software configurations as time allows. This includes end user support of computer hardware and peripherals, as well as support of standard firm productivity software. Extensive experience diagnosing and resolving problems with desktop and laptop hardware, mobile devices, applications, network connectivity, printers, video conference equipment and other technical equipment is a plus. Candidate must be customer service-oriented and have the ability to multitask and prioritize requests in order to complete in a timely manner. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills are also required, as is a strong sense of professionalism and initiative. Experience with law firm applications including iManage Work and Aderant is a plus, but not required.
