Part Time AV Technician and Event Day Operator 3.5 3.5 out of 5 stars 655 West Church Street, Orlando, FL 32805 We are currently seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Event Day Operator. In this role, the successful candidate will support onsite events at InterCo Stadium, which will include Men’s and Women’s soccer matches, concerts, and other scheduled functions, by ensuring that all technical operations run smoothly and client expectations are met. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and solid technical proficiency. This role requires a commitment to attending the majority of assigned events and being adaptable to varying schedules, including evenings and weekends. Schedule Details This position is tailored for event-specific responsibilities, which will necessitate availability for work during the day, night, weekends, and holidays in accordance with the arena’s event schedule. The role may require involvement in service-related projects in the absence of events during certain weeks. Responsibilities Event arrival expectations for event system startup 3 hours minimum before the event starts for game day events 2.5 hours before concerts and other events Event departure expectations for the event system shutdown 30 minutes after the end of the event Provide support to the following systems: IPTV System (Suites, Offices, Clubs, encoders, IP channels, management server, etc) Signage System (Concessions, LED Wall Players, etc) Fan Engagement/Interactive System (Selfie Stations, Recognition Walls, etc) LED Walls (Concourse, Bowl, Clubs, etc) End Point Devices (SoC, Displays, Media Players, STBs, etc) Respond to customer inquiries and provide technical support in person or via phone, email, and chat in a timely and professional manner Keep accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints, including details of actions taken Collaborate with the manager to communicate customer feedback, identify recurring issues, and contribute to ongoing product improvements Research, diagnose, document, and resolve technical issues related to software and hardware problems Skill Requirements and Qualifications Proven 3 years of experience in a related role Some technical aptitude with the ability to understand and troubleshoot equipment configurations Must be able to lift and carry at least 35 lbs and climb the LED Board service ladder Ability to simultaneously handle numerous tasks Perform under tight time schedules Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Effective communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently under pressure Proficiency in relevant software tools for documentation and communication (e.g., Google Suite, CRM systems) Ability to stand/walk for up to 8 hours Maintain good attendance and punctuality Ideal candidate lives within 20 miles of the Inter&Co Stadium
