Full Job Description Job Summary:

The Supervisor – Audio Visual is responsible for leading the audio/visual team in setting up, operating, and dismantling audio/visual equipment to deliver high-quality event technology services. This role involves training and developing technicians, coordinating with sales managers, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring client and team satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

Train and develop technicians on audio/visual setup and operation. Coordinate with sales managers to plan and execute event productions. Identify and address challenges proactively. Delegate tasks to team members and monitor their work. Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate repairs. Maintain organized storerooms and track equipment problems. Respond to client requests promptly and ensure client satisfaction. Lead team meetings and propose ideas for productivity improvements. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements. Collaborate with other departments to optimize operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

A minimum of 3 years of management/supervisory experience in audio, lighting, video, data/telecom, and rigging for live events. Strong understanding of customer service, client relations, production knowledge, team leadership, and equipment competency. Prior experience in a hospitality setting is preferred. Flexibility to work varying hours. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
