Our church has 550 members, five full-time employees, four part-time employees, a fully-staffed preschool, and more than 100 dedicated volunteers engaged in various ministries and functions. The part-time Audio/Visual Systems Coordinator will work with worship teams across two weekly services to optimize sound, video and streaming operations.
Duties:
This position will coordinate weekly recording and online streaming of two Sunday morning worship services, along with integrated control of audio systems used in both services.
Tasks include:
weekly setup/testing of sound and video systems; oversight of all functions in the church’s dedicated sound/recording control room; scheduling volunteers for A/V functions; training/support for volunteers; regular meetings with worship directors for advance planning of upcoming events; manage A/V equipment and software updates.
Qualifications:
Personal faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior Experience managing sound/video in performance and rehearsal settings Experience with streaming and archival video systems Familiarity with the following software or similar technologies: ProPresenter, YouTube, Vimeo, Planning Center, TriCaster (or similar steaming equipment) Strong communication and team leadership skills Ability to pass Georgia background check 3 references (work and personal)
