PRIMARY FUNCTION
: Load-in, configuration, operation and load-out of furniture, décor and audio-visual equipment including, but not limited to, audio, video production, video presentation, lighting and related components to provide high-quality production of live corporate and public events.

Experience:
1 to 2 years of prior event production experience 4.
Physical Activities:
Routine physical activities that are required to fulfill job responsibilities 5.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Written and oral communication; ability to learn and implement industry-standard software for content development, content delivery and event design; ability to learn and operate technical equipment used in live events production. The Board of Education and the Superintendent may accept alternatives to some of the above requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
1. Demonstrates prompt and regular attendance. 2. Provides the highest level of customer service while delivering professional and courteous technical and production services for live corporate and public events in a variety of venues. 3. Works collaboratively with clients and department staff to develop and prepare multimedia content for delivery at events. 4. Assists with the development of event plans, drawings and technical specifications. 5. Implements event plans as specified in written documentation and setup drawings. 6. Performs load-in of furniture, décor and equipment necessary to produce events. Verifies that setup has been completed as specified in documents and drawings and test technical equipment to ensure readiness for a successful, high-quality production. 7. Operates a variety of technical equipment at live events subsequent to training and demonstration of proficiency. 8. Performs load-out of furniture, décor and equipment following events. Properly packs furniture, décor and equipment for return. 9. Assists with the proper storage, maintenance and transportation of equipment used for events. 10. Troubleshoots and resolves equipment issues before and during events. 11. Maintains organized and safe event spaces. 12. Uses problem solving skills to provide adjustments for clients in a fast-paced setting. 13. Immediately reports any technical or production problems to department professional staff. 14. Provides immediate response to requests for assistance for events in progress. 15. Mentors and provides guidance to inexperienced technicians. 16. Performs other duties as assigned by the appropriate supervisor/administrator.
