RESIDENTIAL AND COMMERCIAL INSTALLATION, NOT A LIVE EVENT POSITION
• We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Residential Audio Visual Installation Technician to join our team of
FREELANCE
technicians. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in audio and visual technologies, with the ability to install, maintain, and troubleshoot various AV systems. This role requires mechanical knowledge and proficiency in cabling, electrical systems, Home Theater installation , Surround sound, TV Mounting, Security systems and cameras for residential and commercial installations. This Job is not full-time , if interested you will be hired for freelance installs based on your own availability . Work when you want , the more you work the more you will make. Responsibilities Install, configure, and maintain residential audio-visual equipment including projectors, Screens, TV Mounting, surround sound speakers, audio receivers and security cameras and systems. Perform routine inspections and troubleshooting of AV systems to ensure optimal performance. Utilize schematics to understand system layouts and assist in the installation of low voltage wiring. Use voltmeters and other diagnostic tools to test electrical connections and resolve issues as they arise. Maintain accurate records of equipment inventory and service logs for all installations and repairs. Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project requirements and timelines. Requirements Proven experience as an Audio Visual Installation Technician or in a similar role is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work with various types of AV equipment. Security camera , Home theater, Smart home, etc. Proficiency in cabling techniques and understanding of low voltage electrical systems. Familiarity with home theater setups related to audio visual technology. Ability to read and interpret schematics for installation purposes. Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on maintaining high-quality standards in all work performed. Strong communication skills for effective interactions with clients and colleagues. Willingness to work flexible hours as needed for Installation or service calls, including evenings or weekends.
