Job Summary:

Candidate should be familiar with computer technology — interest and/or experience in video or streaming technology is a plus. AV Install Technicians will be working with their hands constantly and should be comfortable using power tools and performing detailed, repetitive tasks (e.g., cable terminations). Install techs will assist in various stages of deployment including unboxing, delivery, staging equipment, building cables, and hands-on installation. This is an entry-level position with training and growth opportunities for the right candidate. You’ll work under the supervision of an Integration Engineer.

Position Responsibilities:

Daily tasks include equipment delivery, unboxing, staging, and prepping installs Rack mounting, cable dressing, and building SDI and network cables from engineer drawings On-site support and repair service calls Cable terminations (CAT6, SDI, etc.) and wire labeling Equipment testing and commissioning Occasional local/regional travel and overnight stays

Requirements:

Strong verbal and written communication skills Comfortable using power tools and working with hands for long periods Fine motor skills and patience for detail-oriented work (e.g., cable stripping and crimping) Willingness to support the Integration Engineer and follow direction Positive attitude and ability to learn technical systems Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and work on ladders when needed Must have reliable transportation

Preferred Experience:

Termination of CAT6, BNC/SDI, or other low-voltage cabling Any AV, networking, IT, or electronics repair background Hands-on hobbies like PC building, wiring projects, or model assembly are also valued

Qualifications:

1+ year of install, integration, or low-voltage experience (AV, networking, or security is applicable) Willing to submit to background check and drug screening prior to start date
