AUDIO/VISUAL COORDINATOR

Whitesville Road, Columbus, Ga Position:

This is a Part Time Position working up to 10 hours weekly. At particular times of the year, hours could possibly be 15 to 18 weekly.

Schedule:

Wednesday evenings (3 hours), Saturday evenings (3 hours), Sunday mornings (3 hours)

St Mark Church is a welcoming and vibrant faith community committed to worship, fellowship, and outreach. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team as a part-time Audio/Visual Coordinator to enhance our worship experience and online presence.

Position Overview:

This position combines technical sound support during our weekly worship services and church events. The ideal candidate will be passionate about supporting our ministry through excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up, operate, and maintain sound equipment for Wednesday evening rehearsals, Saturday and Sunday services and special events. Mix live audio during worship services to ensure clear and balanced sound for congregation and online streaming. Troubleshoot technical issues promptly to minimize disruptions. Collaborate with worship leaders, musicians, pastors, volunteers to meet audio and visual needs. Maintain and inventory all sound equipment. Train Volunteers and Coordinate Volunteer Schedules Prepare all Visual Elements for Worship Services, assisting Worship Leaders, Pastor and other

Staff:

slides, lighting, videos, etc. Camera and Lighting operation for Worship Services and other events needed.

Qualifications:

Experience with digital soundboard operation, audio equipment, and lighting systems is required. (Wing digital soundboard, Behringer X32 soundboard, ATEM Lighting system, Pro Presenter Slideshow builder) Experience with live sound mixing and troubleshooting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience working in a worship setting is a plus.

Hours & Compensation:
