Full Job Description Job Description:

We’re looking for a reliable and skilled Audio-Visual (AV) Technician to help support worship services, live streams, and special events in a vibrant and Christ-centered church environment. This part-time role is perfect for someone who loves working behind the scenes and has a passion for using technology to serve others. While this is an hourly position, there is plenty of room to grow—especially with additional opportunities during special events, services, and conferences. Responsibilities Audio & Visual Equipment Setup:

Set up, operate, and maintain audio, video, and lighting systems for Sunday services, events, and church activities.

ProPresenter Management:

Operate ProPresenter to manage slides, lyrics, media, and other content during services and special events.( This can be taught, but experience in propresenter would be nice)

Live Streaming & Recording:

Assist with the live streaming of services, including camera operation, sound mixing, and ensuring seamless streaming quality.

Technical Support:

Troubleshoot any technical issues with audio, video, and lighting systems during services and events.

Event Coordination:

Assist in planning and executing the technical aspects of church events such as funerals, weddings, conferences, and community outreach programs. Collaborate with

Worship Team:

Work closely with the worship team and other ministry leaders to ensure smooth integration of AV elements into the worship experience. On-Call for

Services & Events:

Availability for services, rehearsals, and special events, including Sundays and other church activities throughout the week. Qualifications Proven experience as an AV Technician, preferably in a church or event setting. Familiarity with audio mixing, lighting setups, and video production techniques. Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work under pressure in live-event settings. Ability to work as part of a team and effectively communicate with ministry leaders and volunteers. Flexibility to work on Sundays, with availability for other events during the week. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a high standard of technical excellence. Preferred Skills:

Experience with live streaming platforms and video editing software.

Schedule:

Sundays (required) Availability for additional events and services as needed throughout the week. If you are passionate about combining your technical skills with ministry work and enjoy working in a church environment, we would love to hear from you! Knowledge of sound systems, microphones, and digital audio workstations (DAWs). Lighting control board experience for services and events. Basic knowledge of stage setup and configuration.
