Job Description

Audio-Visual Specialist at Maine Community College System in South Portland, Maine, United States Job Description Audio-Video Specialist (based at Southern Maine Community College) The Maine Community College System (MCCS) is looking for a full-time Audio-Visual Specialist. Under the direction of the Manager of Audio-Visual Technologies the Audio-Visual Specialist is responsible for the installation and maintenance of audio-visual systems for the Southern Region of MCCS. This role requires a strong technical background in AV technologies. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with faculty, staff, and the Manager of Audio-Visual Technologies to ensure the successful execution of AV installations and maintenance. The Audio-Visual Specialist is within the MSEA Support Services Unit with an anticipated pay range of 18. The required minimum qualifications include an associate’s degree in a computer-related field. Experience in Crestron and Extron Programming, installing, diagnosing, repairing, and upgrading PC hardware and equipment to ensure optimal performance is also required. Experience in Shure equipment and software as well as knowledge of BiAMP DSP’s is a plus. The required knowledge, skills, and abilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Strong technical background in AV technologies.
The ability to collaborate with faculty, staff, and the Manager of Audio-Visual Technologies to ensure the successful execution of AV installations and maintenance.
The ability to assist faculty with instructional design issues and training for the delivery of online and hybrid classes through the use of Zoom and Panopto.
