Events Technician 4.1 4.1 out of 5 stars 121 West North Avenue, Wake Forest, NC 27587 Job Description Assist the live event production team of the Media Services department in the set up and coordination of all aspects for live production such as chapels, conferences, small events, and special events.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITES
Work with departments to coordinate live production elements such as: audio, lighting, video, and IMAG. Clean, repair, and maintain live production equipment. Work with chapel bands on their audio setup needs Video direct live events Enter songs, announcements, and PowerPoint into Pro-Presenter Edit graphics such as lower-thirds and title screens Assist event production manager with special projects on campus Work alongside outside vendors for event rentals
OTHER DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
(Responsibilities to be performed occasionally or in addition to the essential duties of the position) Provide audio, video, lighting support of off-campus SEBTS events.

Must have a working knowledge of audio systems and components, must have an understanding video components. WORKING CONDITIONS AND ENVIRONMENT
Working hours will vary between 8:00am through 5:00pm. Some night, weekend work will be required. Event Technicians are expected to work during summers.
Required Qualifications:
Basic knowledge of audio, video, lighting, and presentation technologies (e.g., microphones, projectors, soundboards, etc.) Ability to set up, operate, and troubleshoot AV equipment in a live event environment Strong communication skills and ability to work well with diverse teams and event participants Proven punctuality, reliability, and attention to detail Ability to follow instructions and adapt quickly to changes in event needs or tech setups Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and variable hours depending on event schedules Physical ability to lift and transport equipment (up to 50 lbs) and remain on your feet for extended periods Commitment to uphold and support the mission and values of
