Pay Philosophy The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by a number of factors including skills, experience, education, certifications and location. The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role. Description A Conference Center Coordinator, working with limited direction, provides on-site support in the delivery of conference center services. Responsibilities include work closely with internal clients to plan, schedule and implement a variety of meetings (simple, complex and multi-day) held in Conference Center-managed rooms. In addition the Conference Center Coordinator may oversee activity in other designated self-service conference room locations. A Conference Center Coordinator is dedicated to an office or campus. Responsibilities Provide an outstanding level of customer service designed to exceed the goals and objectives of each Conference Center client. Oversee day-to-day utilization and assignment of conference rooms and manage space by using web-based applications such as RESERVE and Outlook Work directly with internal clients to develop and finalize program details for mid-size to large events. Greets and directs incoming clients and meeting attendees in the conference center. Provides support, expertise, problem resolution, supplies, information as needed. Provides audio-visual equipment support as requested: a. Video Conferencing b. Projectors or Flat Screen Display c. Audio Conferencing d. Microphone set up e. PC connections f. Lync meetings Facilitates each delivery by connecting, testing and troubleshooting as needed and provides instruction to meeting host on use of equipment. Act as a point of contact to ensure A/V equipment repair is scheduled and completed and uses the equipment log to capture reported issues Responsible for the production, distribution and follow up on all reports associated with conference room activity as defined by the Conference Center standard work documentation. Responsible for maintaining conference room space as well a personal work area. This may include two daily walk-throughs using checklist as well as interim sweeps throughout the day. Perform additional duties, may include project-related work, as assigned by manager or supervisor. Provide required information and updates to location-specific website relative to conference center information including self-service conference rooms. 1 Coordinate activities of facilities and catering staff during event to ensure services are delivered as arranged. 1 Qualifications Bachelor`s Degree 1-3 years` experience in Conference/Meeting Planning industry or hospitality background Displays strong customer service skills, with high attention to detail Must have strong technical aptitude and interest in learning new technology Strong written and oral communication skills Consistently demonstrates polished interpersonal and organizational skills Demonstrates ability to exercise judgment, to shift priorities and to organize multiple tasks simultaneously Demonstrates the ability to work in a team environment Proficiency with Microsoft Products About Us As a purpose-driven organization, Liberty Mutual is committed to fostering an environment where employees from all backgrounds can build long and meaningful careers.
