Compensation Range:

$21.36 – $29.90 The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job’s compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.

Responsibilities:
GENERAL SUMMARY

Responsible for the safe and appropriate set up, installation, operation, testing, troubleshooting and teardown of audio and video equipment for live events, including projectors, microphones, speakers, cameras and lighting. Must have a reliable cell phone for occasional calls or text messages during events.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Communicates with clients to understand technical needs. Coordinates delivery and setup of audiovisual (AV) needs for events and classes. Operates AV equipment. Troubleshoots and resolves technical issues that may arise during the event. Performs routine maintenance and repairs on equipment as needed. Ensures equipment is not damaged during use and is returned to its proper storage locations. Acts as a resource for students and staff to address questions or issues. Assists with developing detailed and consistent documentation for department processes and policies. Assists department with basic clerical work, including scheduling, organization, training and other related tasks. Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

High School diploma and 1 year of experience providing audiovisual support in classrooms or similar environment or for live events required Or equivalent combination of education and experience
