un ⚐ ⚑ ⚑ Seeking PA/Audio Assistant for Live Performances (New York City) no pay We’re looking for a passionate, reliable, and eager Production Assistant / Audio Assistant to join our team for live music performances, showcases, and events happening in NYC and other nearby locations.
Position:
Unpaid (Great for students, aspiring audio engineers, or anyone looking to build experience and network in the live event/music industry)
Location:
NYC-based preferred, but events may take place in Brooklyn, Queens, NJ, and other areas in the tri-state region. Travel costs may be covered on a case-by-case basis. ⸻ ????
Responsibilities:
- Assist with setup and breakdown of audio equipment (mics, cables, monitors, PA systems)
- Support sound checks and help manage basic troubleshooting
- Help manage performance logistics and artist transitions during live events
- Be part of the behind-the-scenes crew for both indoor and outdoor venues ⸻ ????
Ideal Candidate:
- Enthusiastic about music, live production, and event management
- Has basic knowledge of audio gear or eager to learn on the job
- Comfortable lifting equipment and moving quickly in a high-energy environment
- Dependable, on-time, and communicates well
- Prior experience is a plus, but not required ⸻ ????
