Responsibilities:
Department of contemporary music wants to hire student assistants to help with their music equipment room next year.
- Check out, receive, and maintain audio equipment such as microphones, audio interfaces,
and cables. - Assist with the setup and breakdown of audio systems for classroom instruction, student
projects, and campus events. - Monitor and update inventory to ensure equipment is properly tracked and maintained.
- Maintain the security and organization of the equipment room and gear.
- Assist students and faculty with basic classroom and equipment related needs.
- Assist the Equipment Manager with tasks and projects as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

On Site Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Basic understanding of audio technology including microphones, cables,
adapters, audio interfaces, and MIDI controllers.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with audio set up for live events, audio mixers, scheduling
reservations, and customer service.
