We’re looking for a skilled Audio Video Field Technician to join our growing team and help deliver high-quality AV experiences to our clients.
Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced AV Technician to perform on-site installations and service for AV systems. This is a field-based position —you’ll be the face of our company on job sites, performing hands-on work with structured cabling, sound systems, AV components, and basic networking.
Key Responsibilities:
Install and configure audio/video systems including displays, amplifiers, processors, speakers, and control systems Pull, terminate, and label low-voltage wiring (Cat5e/Cat6, speaker wire, coax, etc.) Read and interpret construction drawings, wiring diagrams, and floor plans Mount and install TVs, projectors, cameras, and AV racks Commission and test AV systems to ensure proper functionality Troubleshoot AV and basic network issues on-site Communicate with project managers and clients regarding progress and expectations Maintain a clean and organized work environment on job sites Work independently or as part of a team to complete installations efficiently
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in commercial AV installation or related low-voltage work Strong knowledge of data wiring, sound systems, and AV signal flow Familiarity with AV brands including Extron, QSC, Atlas , and others Ability to terminate and label all cable types properly (RJ45, XLR, RCA, etc.) Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision Basic understanding of networking (IP addressing, switches, VLANs preferred) Must be able to lift 50 lbs and work on ladders/lifts when needed Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required

$65,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
