Audio/Video Installer Position Available In Davidson, Tennessee

Audio/Video Installer Kyperion Technology LLC 600 Old Hickory Boulevard, Nashville, TN 37209 Installer & Apprentice Electrician Responsibilities This role focuses on installing and setting up systems in residential and light commercial environments. The installer will work with home theaters, conference room AV systems, security cameras, smart lighting, and home automation. They will also install networking equipment like routers, switches, and cabling (Cat5e, Cat6, fiber). An electrical background is essential, as the role requires safe installation of low-voltage and line-voltage systems, wiring for lighting and receptacles, and ensuring all work follows code. This role includes testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining installed systems, as well as communicating with customers and documenting all work. Strong customer service and attention to detail are key.

Key Responsibilities:

Audio-Visual Systems Installation Install TVs, projectors, screens, speakers, and surround sound systems Set up AV for conference rooms and digital signage displays Networking Systems Install and configure routers, switches, and access points Run and terminate Cat5e, Cat6, and fiber optic cables Ensure stable and secure network performance Surveillance & Access Control Install and configure IP/analog cameras and NVRs Set up door access systems (keypads, card readers, locks) Install intrusion alarms, motion detectors, and sensors Lighting Control & Electrical Work Install dimmers, smart switches, occupancy sensors, and lighting panels Perform electrical wiring for fixtures, outlets, and control systems Ensure all work meets code and safety standards Home Automation Install and program smart devices (thermostats, door locks, lighting) Integrate automation systems with control hubs and voice assistants Train clients on how to use their systems Testing & Troubleshooting Test systems for full functionality Identify and fix issues during and after installation Provide ongoing support and maintenance Documentation Keep clear records of installation details and configurations Submit recap reports after each project Customer Service Explain systems and answer client questions Tailor setups to client needs Maintain professional, respectful interactions Job Site Safety & Cleanliness Follow safety practices and wear proper PPE Maintain clean and organized workspaces Work in various conditions, including attics and crawl spaces If you are passionate about audio visual technology and eager to contribute your expertise in a collaborative environment, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
