We are looking for collaborative and motivated individuals to join our team. JAG Installation Technicians will have the following responsibilities: Job Duties JAG installation technicians are responsible for the installation of a variety of audio, video, lighting, and network components. Performing the process of receiving, inventorying, assembling and installing AV equipment on job site locations and in the companies warehouse. Installing and terminating cables with the appropriate solder or compression connector Drilling in drywall, concrete, etc for the purpose of running wires, installing audio, lighting, video, and networking equipment Installing electronic and electrical components into equipment racks and other locations per wiring diagrams or lead technician instructions Sanding, painting and other light construction jobs Organizing and storing materials Working in confined spaces Light programming or programming verification of AV systems Ability to travel when required Ability to work long or unusual hours as required Performing other duties as assigned Qualifications Detail-oriented and collaborative team player Organizational skills, ability to communicate to team members, ability to think and work independently, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, professional-level interaction with clients and colleagues Ability to lift 75+ lbs, climb ladders, and work at heights over 10ft Strong written and oral communication skills Ability to read Bill Of Materials (BOM), construction & CAD drawings Familiarity with multimeters and other electronic test meters Strong working knowledge of AV equipment and general networking principles Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Ability to learn new tasks quickly Detailed knowledge of building racks, termination, and mounting equipment Preferred Education and Certifications CTS Certification Dante Level 3 Certified Q-SYS Level 1 Certified Vectorworks Spotlight Trade School or College Degree Required Experience Minimum 1 year AV installation experience
