Job Summary
Serves as the AV and technical support lead at the Martin Professional Development Center. Provides excellent customer and building support to ensure operational efficiency.
What you will do
Provide hardware and technical support for computers, printers, projectors, and other ancillary equipment at the Martin Professional Development Center, assisting presenters and attendees with their technical needs during events.
Set up, operate, and troubleshoot AV equipment, including microphones, projectors, and sound systems, while managing live streaming and recording of events to ensure high-quality audio and visual output.
Manage room configurations and event setups/takedowns based on reservations and presenter requests.
Operates vehicles to transport technology items to district locations.
Install, configure, and troubleshoot end-user technology systems (e.g., Windows, Mac OS, iOS, and peripherals) in accordance with standardized MNPS procedures.
Set up, operate, and troubleshoot AV equipment, including microphones, projectors, sound systems, streaming platforms, and recording software.
Manage live streaming and recording of events while providing real-time technical assistance during presentations.
Assists with calendar requests and coordinates room configurations, setups, and takedowns for meetings and events, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for users.
Conduct ad hoc user training on technology tools, network and processes. Escalate when needed.
Education Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED Required
Post-secondary degree in technology field Preferred
Experience Qualifications
1-3 years Work experience Required
Skills and Abilities
Experience in customer service and AV management and Microsoft Suite. (High proficiency)
Ability to follow oral and written directions and work collaboratively. (Medium proficiency)
Ability to establish and maintain effective, cooperative working relationship with others. (High proficiency)
Ability to drive and transport technology within Nashville. (Low proficiency)
Equivalency

Starting At:

$28.96
Salaries are determined by factors relevant to the position which may include education, experience, and other qualifications. Final compensation decisions are made at the discretion of MNPS in alignment with organizational policies and procedures. The stated salary range for certificated teaching positions is calculated based on 201 days and should be viewed as a reference. All provided salary ranges serve as a general guideline.
