Role:
TekOne Solutions is actively seeking an experienced A/V Installation Technician for high-profile, new construction projects in Knoxville, TN. This role offers long-term, temp-to-perm potential for a skilled tech who takes pride in clean, high-quality installations of TVs, pendant speakers, conference room systems, and outdoor A/V setups.
Scope of Work Includes:
Installing TVs and pendant speakers in office and cubicle areas Mounting and wiring Q-SYS Flex Room systems across 4 floors Supporting A/V integration in 1 large conference room and 3 executive offices Outfitting 2 break rooms and an exterior terrace with TV and landscape speakers Running/display cabling and component connections per site design Coordinating with general contractors and following buildout timelines Ensuring all installs meet quality, safety, and performance standards
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of A/V installation experience (commercial preferred) Familiar with TV/display mounting, speaker wiring, and conference room systems Experience working from blueprints or installation diagrams Ability to lift/mount displays and work on ladders or lifts as needed Must have reliable hand tools for A/V installation Steel-toe boots required (supplied by tech) PPE provided on-site Strong work ethic, communication skills, and team mindset Reliable transportation and ability to start immediately
