The ideal Lead AV Technician candidate possesses experience in commercial and/or House of Worship audio/visual systems. Any employee of Prince must maintain a professional and presentable appearance and be capable of interfacing with clients. For this position we require field AND lead experience, and commissioning experience is a plus. We need someone that can configure IP addresses, update firmware, some programming, tune audio, and has networking knowledge. We would love someone that is familiar with QSYS, Biamp, and Crestron. Compensation for this position starts at $18 an hour based on experience and qualifications. Please note that we do sometime work in large spaces with tall ceilings and can at times be required to work at heights of 20-30 ft in the air on a lift. Additional Benefits After 90
Days Include:

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
MUST have field experience as well as lead experience. Must have the ability to lift 50 pounds. Install cameras, monitors, projectors, screens, microphones, speakers, and other AV hardware in accordance with industry safety standards. Knowledge of AV cabling types. Can configure IP addresses, update firmware, some programming, tune audio, and has networking knowledge. Terminate common AV cabling such as shielded category cable, XLR, ¼”, and BNC/SDI by following industry standards. Structured cabling which includes pulling, terminating, labeling, and testing all cable and wiring associated with audio/video cables. Work with in-room presentation systems, video conferencing systems, and church or venue event production systems. Ability to read system line diagrams and carry out the intended design. Conduct troubleshooting of AV systems. Basic system and computer programming. Complete rack build-out and prewiring with superior craftsmanship. Build support structures to hang AV equipment consistent with industry safety standards. Use of ladders, lifts, and fall-restraint devices in accordance with OSHA and job site safety standards. Serve as a proactive member of the Prince team by providing feedback to determine improvements in the installation process. Other responsibilities as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications:
Must pass initial and random drug tests and a background check. Good communications skills and a team-first mentality. Willingness to learn and retain both manufacturer and on-the-job training. Must possess a valid driver’s license and pass other company driving policies. History of excellent attendance and availability for shift work as needed Plus factors : Experience in these manufacturers’ software or hardware: Crestron, Biamp, QSC, Dante; CTS training or certification; Ability to solder AV connections; Experience working or volunteering in corporate, church, or other AV opportunities; Knowledge and experience in commercial construction standards.
