We are currently searching for a Broadcast Operator / Assistant tojoin our team. This exciting poistion assists the Broadcast Managerin providing television and “radio” programming. Onboard televisionand radio broadcasts consist of a mix of pre-recorded and/or livematerial. Sources of broadcast material include satelliteprogramming, terrestrial broadcasts, pre-recorded content, and livecontent. Live content can be from a satellite feed or from alecture or show taking place onboard the ship. The candidate should have minimum of one year experience in anupscale hotel, resort, cruise ship, entertainment or recreationalindustry (shipboard experience preferred). Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Assists the Broadcast Manager in the formulation of televisionand radio broadcast schedules.
• Assists the Broadcast Manager in carrying out the television andradio broadcast schedules paying attention to start times andbroadcast quality.
• Assists the Broadcast Manager in creating programming wherenecessary. This means shooting and editing various lectures,activities, or shows for playback at later times, or shooting andmixing them for live broadcast.
• Assists the Broadcast Manager with monitoring of the PA systemaround the ship paying attention to clarity, volume, andcoverage.
• Assists the Broadcast Manager in overseeing the video-relatedrequirements and related setups for activities that may take placein various lounges around the ship.
