Operations Team manages and coordinates NEP South Florida’s Connected Solutions transmissions via satellite, fiber, and IP. We are seeking a self-motivated individual to join our team and help deliver services effectively and efficiently. The ideal candidate is organized, focused, and remains calm under pressure. This is a full-time position (40 hours/week) and requires availability for overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays. Overtime may be required. Essential Duties/Responsibilities Route signals based on booking details, following established workflows and procedures Manage daily responsibilities alongside team members Perform video and audio quality control Troubleshoot technical issues and escalate to Engineer-in-Charge or providers as needed Book and operate third-party services (e.g., space segments, fiber circuits) Handle client transmission requests via phone and email Report and document technical issues Operate broadcast equipment and technology within assigned areas, including managing server content for control room productions Participate in special event coverage and projects as assigned Qualifications Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to maintain high accuracy and minimal faults At least 2 years of experience in a broadcast environment Familiarity with broadcast equipment (e.g., routers, waveform monitors, receivers, VTR decks) Knowledge of satellite transmission and RF delivery Proficient computer skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Preferred Experience Familiarity with MCR or transmission facilities Knowledge of HD workflows Experience in quality control Exposure to postproduction environments Understanding of new media, encoding, and streaming technologies
