7K a year 20 hours ago Qualifications Customer service High school diploma or GED Bachelor’s degree 1 year Entry level Full Job Description SUMMARY In support of the university’s mission and objectives, the Live Production Technician is responsible for planning and executing the audiovisual needs for in-person and virtual events at Palm Beach Atlantic University. This role supports the Live Production Manager in managing the department’s equipment inventory and providing on-site technical assistance, ensuring smooth event operations. Live Event Production and A/V Coordination Plans and coordinates high profile live audio/video events (i.e. special on-campus speakers, board meetings, etc.) by operating audio-visual equipment and ensuring the excellent execution of event programming. Works closely with the Live Production Manager on project management and process enhancements. Supports the Live Production Manager with training student employees on the proper operation of A/V equipment and proper event etiquette. Equipment Management and Operational Support Assists in maintaining a complete inventory of all equipment, location, and status. Operates equipment for events on campus or oversees operations by other team members. Partners with the Live Production Manager to ensure that all campus venue audio systems are in full working order. Performs day-to-day maintenance of AV equipment located campus venues. Works effectively with others to enhance the team’s collaborative environment and culture. Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION

Post high school training required; Bachelor’s degree in audio/visual production preferred or equivalent experience.

EXPERIENCE

1+ years of experience with audio-visual equipment, production, demonstrates a high-level of understanding and usage of a wide variety of AV equipment.
