A/V Associate Responsible to :
Director of Communications and Production General Description :
Provide technical support to the Audio/Visual Media department and assist with live video production.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Coordinate, set up, and operate A/V for events as scheduled. 2. Assist with worship service live video production. 3. Assist with production and post-production of video content as needed, including lighting, camera, audio acquisition and basic editing. 4. Run live sound for various campus events and services. 5. Perform both routine and unplanned equipment maintenance, in coordination with the Communications/Production Team Leader. 6. Perform basic installations as required. 7. Maintain inventory of campus-wide A/V assets, in coordination with the Communications/Production Team Leader. 8. Provide on-call support for busy event times and emergency needs. 9. Support, train, and schedule volunteers. 10. Assist with other technical needs or projects as directed.
Requirements:
1. Working knowledge of basic A/V components, including lighting, infrastructure, and standards. 2. Working knowledge of video editing (Premiere Pro, FCP X, etc). 3. Working knowledge of cameras, lighting, audio, and other production equipment. 4. General knowledge of mixing consoles for live event audio. 5. Ability to troubleshoot under pressure. 6. Interpersonal skills. Ability to interact with non-technical guests, staff, and laity. 7. Flexibility and availability for Sunday morning services and occasional special services and events. 8. A passion for ministry and a heart for serving the church community. 9. Familiarity with church culture is a plus.
Compensation:
This is a full-time, hourly position with benefits. $19-$21/hour.
