This role is full-time during our “busy season” which willvary year to year. If you would like to have some extra income,please read on.
Compensation Pay:
$27.49 / hour Shift differential: 6
- 8% of base hourly rate shift differential paid for applicablehours worked Schedule 12-hour shifts on rotating schedule 3/4/4/36:00 pm
- 6:00 am, Night Shift 6:00 am
- 6:00 pm, Day Shift Abilityto work holidays and weekends per business needs Must be able toattend training on days
Skills Required:
Operate, changeover,clean, troubleshoot, and complete basic maintenance according tocompany standards on production equipment consisting of fillers,labelers, case packers, palletizers, blow mold machines, wrappers,and forklifts Record the following: preventative maintenanceactivities, quality inspection data, equipment downtime, productionoutput and other key metrics Adhere to safe work practices, goodmanufacturing practices, and participate in safe behaviorobservation programs Communicate effectively when issues arise thatprevent operating to company standards/procedures Meet or exceedperformance metrics including efficiency, production, and downtimePerform mathematical calculations as needed Ensure quality productis sent to customers by completing hourly quality checks Inspectraw materials against quality standards before loading themInteract with team members from various departments (QualityAssurance, Maintenance, etc.) to maximize output and efficiencyAttend shift, team, and plant meetings during their scheduled timesMeasure and continuously improve the line operation as a team andwith other technicians Cross-train in other areas to supportoperations during downtimes Maintain your workstation in anorganized and clean manner ensuring safety and good manufacturingpractices Focus on safe work practices and high quality whileexecuting duties with a sense of urgency QualificationsRequirements/Qualifications High school diploma, GED or equivalentexperience Prior experience in clean manufacturing preferredAbility to work the scheduled shift which includes start-up andhandover meetings Exposure to high-speed production and/or basicmaintenance is preferred Troubleshooting and root cause analysisexperience Ability to work on your own and with a team Strongcommunication skills both face to face and over the radio Computerskills with knowledge of Microsoft applications, SAP experience aplus Forklift experience is preferred, but we are able to train newassociates Ability to lift and move 50 lbs. and stand on your feetfor extended periods of time throughout the day Ability to work inadverse environmental conditions, including inclement weather andchanges in temperature Seasonal assignments offer valuable workexperience at a leading beverage company.
