SageSure, a leader in catastrophe-exposed property insurance, is seeking a Commercial Product Specialist within our Commercial Product Development department. This position will be focused on supporting the management of our policy offerings and contributing to the creation of coverage responses to our growing consumer demand. This role is a Commercial lines specific position and requires functional expertise, inclusive of BOP, CPP, CP and GL product lines. What you’d be doing: Assist in the development and execution of Commercial lines contract language strategies, including ISO and proprietary policy offerings. Support interactions with government agencies to ensure approvals. Prepare and file coverage and rules with state agencies. Contribute to the creation of proprietary coverage endorsements that differentiate SageSure in the marketplace. Work alongside the team to successfully file and implement these through multiple products, partnering with Marketing to ensure the value proposition is highlighted. Collaborate on the creation of associated rule filings in conjunction with Form filings. Assist in investigating emerging risks and contribute to creating coverage solutions. Collaborate with the CL Product team on rate and product decisions. Support the implementation of coverage changes, both strategic and maintenance changes, with collaboration from programming and automation teams. Assist in product design efforts, participate in coverage and output reviews to ensure compliance, reduce vulnerabilities, and improve customer experience. Monitor state legislative and ISO activity, review complex coverage issues, help with responses to DOI complaints, and identify litigation and claim trends to develop solutions. Assist in the development and implementation of necessary corrective actions to ensure compliance with state regulatory requirements and business objectives. Collaborate with Claims on identifying negative trends and assist in developing coverage solutions. Stay informed of regulatory rulings, industry trends, and legal developments that affect coverage. Contribute to the development and support of a high-performing team of product analysts, including providing guidance, performance feedback, and mentoring. Manage Commercial product defect process on behalf of the business in conjunction with dependent departments to ensure timely resolution and proactive communications to stakeholders. Manage internal and external program audits on behalf of Commercial as an SME. Serve as a resource to other team members on aspects of project work, insurance, and general business knowledge. We’re looking for someone who has: 3+ years of experience in a Commercial product management, actuarial, or analytical role knowledge of Commercial Lines Property and Casualty insurance coverage, inclusive of BOP, CPP, CP and GL product lines, including ISO contract language for Commercial Lines forms. Ability to represent the needs of the organization effectively, with regulators, auditors and agencies. Experience supporting the crafting of policy and endorsement language, and the ability to interpret and discuss coverage with internal staff, marketing, and regulators. Working knowledge of SERFF and associated filing systems.

Highly preferred candidates also have:

Bachelor’s degree required CPCU, JD or other legal designations helpful
