We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Entry-Level Copywriter for a 6-month, on-site contract position. The ideal candidate will help shape how our products are perceived across e-commerce platforms by writing clear, compelling, and persuasive product descriptions and marketing copy. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced environment, build your writing portfolio, and learn the ins and outs of brand storytelling and product marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

Write persuasive and accurate product descriptions for items sold online (Amazon) Craft compelling Amazon bullet copy (≤ 200 characters) with optimized SEO keywords, benefits, and selling points to drive click-throughs and conversions Edit and rewrite vendor-submitted product descriptions to ensure clarity, brand consistency, and grammatical accuracy Ensure product specifications, grammar, and messaging are correct across databases and e-commerce platforms Collaborate with cross-functional teams (merchandising, marketing, e-commerce) to understand product features and customer benefits Assist with editing and quality-checking data for print ads and digital placements Participate in department-wide initiatives such as improving work-life balance, productivity, and communication tools (e.g., SmartSheet, Microsoft Teams)

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or current coursework in English, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related field Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills Excellent attention to detail and grammar Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) Willingness to learn and collaborate in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

Basic understanding of SEO and keyword integration Familiarity with Amazon content standards or e-commerce best practices Experience working with content management systems Interest in home furnishings, lifestyle, or interior design
