Copywriter & Editor:

At Harvest Solutions , we empower individuals—especially from underserved communities—with access to free, incentivized life-skills education, job and housing resources, and positive, uplifting content. We’re seeking a creative, mission-driven Copywriter & Editor to help us shape the voice of this movement. This role goes beyond writing. You’ll be responsible for developing and editing content that resonates with our diverse user base—ranging from returning citizens to college students—while staying true to our uplifting, empowering tone. You’ll collaborate with our content creators, educators, media producers, and outreach teams to create copy that informs, inspires, and drives action.

Key Responsibilities:

Write and edit engaging, accessible, and impactful copy for life-skills courses, landing pages, app interfaces, newsletters, social media, and partner materials. Proof and refine content written by other team members, including curriculum creators, outreach specialists, and influencers. Collaborate on brainstorming sessions for new course topics, community campaigns, and educational series. Ensure all content reflects Harvest’s mission and values—encouraging growth, dignity, and personal transformation. Assist with content development for video scripts, marketing materials, and app interface language. Maintain brand tone and language consistency across all written material. Conduct research to support accurate, evidence-informed content tailored to our unique audiences. Copywriter /

Editor Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in English, communications, or related field. Exceptional writing and editing skills with an eye for clarity, structure, and tone. Ability to tailor messaging for different audiences (e.g., justice-involved individuals, students, veterans, SNAP recipients). Familiarity with topics like financial literacy, mental health, reentry, housing access, or job readiness is a major plus. Strong collaborative skills and ability to work across departments. Proficiency in grammar, spelling, and AP or in-house style. Detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated. Receptive to feedback. Willingness to meet deadlines.
