The Job:

As part of our growing Commerce Experience business, we are building our in-house creative capabilities to serve our clients’ needs for quality, high-performing digital and commence creative. The Senior Copywriter reports into the Director, Copywriting and will ideate, concept and execute copy that can be developed into multi-format creative deliverables. This person will collaborate within the Creative team to ensure top-notch copy direction, and develop those creative deliverables, on behalf of our clients and the agency. Critical to this role is the ability to translate a client brief into copy for concepts, mockups and composites that bring ideas to life, in addition to the general hard skills necessary to do copywriting work on behalf of current clients. Additionally, this role will also support brainstorms, concept manifestos, operational processes, and internal marketing initiatives, all related to the copywriting function.   • Client Relations Write original copy and edit content for a range of advertising, website, retail media or marketplace, and marketing deliverables Collaborate with the team to construct innovative and strategic copy ideas and bring them to life in successful, on-brief executions Develop copy within brand guidelines and with an experienced creative lens for what works and what doesn’t, for client’s app experiences, social, .

com and other properties Establishes tone, style, and messaging that will effectively communicate with the target audience and fulfill the project objectives Facilitate and contribute to productive brainstorms with the Creative team and larger department Support copy concepts with clear rationale and maintain ownership of work from ideation to launch Proactively seizes opportunity to create timely content against viral trends and larger cultural moments Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a high-volume workload Continually raise the bar on creativity, writing fresh copy that connects with the desired audience and drives action Maintain up-to-date knowledge of communication and client-related industry trends Interpret creative briefs to independently develop and cleanly execute creative concepts through execution completion with minimal oversight needed Research and understand the client’s needs and target audiences, through online searches, interviews with subject matter experts, and in-person meetings Collaborate with a team of account and creative staff from concept development to delivery of final product Communicate to the client our creative perspective and copywriting processes Present copy concepts and final deliverables to internal team, and to client representative as needed, and participate in client pitches on occasion Revise copy based on internal and client feedback/direction Knowledge and Skills Required 4-6 years of direct experience in the copywriting field, with agency experience required therein Formal copy training in the form of a degree or equivalent additional working experience in the field Strong past work / portfolio across digital creative formats including website, app, paid media ads, retail media/Amazon, and social media Able to synthesize existing copy to rewrite clear messaging copy Proficient in Figma for reviewing and collaborating on design files Comfortable using Microsoft applications (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) for daily tasks and communications Experience in ecommerce/performance marketing preferred but not required Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering clean, mistake-free deliverables to clients Proofreading/copy editing experience with standard style guides Certificates, Licenses and Registrations There are no requirements for certificates, licenses and registrations. #

00 A successful applicant’s actual base salary may vary based on factors such as individual’s skill sets, experience, training, education, licensure/certifications, and qualifications for the role.
