The ideal candidate will have a passion for music and entertainment, along with the ability to connect with diverse audiences. As a Disc Jockey, you will be responsible for curating playlists, mixing tracks, and ensuring that every event is lively and enjoyable. Duties Select and play music that aligns with the event’s theme and audience preferences. Set up and operate sound equipment, including mixers, turntables, and speakers. Engage with guests through announcements and interactions to enhance their experience. Coordinate with event planners to understand specific requirements and timelines. Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while performing at events. Manage requests from guests while ensuring a smooth flow of music throughout the event. Promote upcoming events through social media or other marketing channels as needed. Assist with heavy lifting of equipment during setup and breakdown of events. Skills Strong customer service skills to ensure guest satisfaction. Excellent communication abilities for effective interaction with clients and attendees. Public speaking skills to confidently address crowds during events. Experience in dance or an understanding of rhythm can enhance performance quality. Marketing skills to promote events effectively can be beneficial. Ability to perform heavy lifting when setting up sound equipment is required.
