$31.9K – $36.1K a year 8 hours ago Qualifications High school diploma or GED Organizational skills IT Entry level Full Job Description Our Game Plan The Bridgeport Islanders are in search of Gameday Production Crew to join the Game Presentation Department and enhance the gameday atmosphere and in-game broadcasts. You will have the opportunity to work beside the Manager of Game Presentation and work a variety of positions within live entertainment. Training will be provided if needed. How to Make the Team Production Assistant Gameday staff must be always “on”. Production assistants should be dedicated to help with set up and any additional needs during in game with presentations, entertainment, helping the mascot and EMCEE (host). Daktronics Operator Perform all Daktronics videoboard duties during Bridgeport Islander gamedays. The videoboard operator will sit next to the Game Presentation Manager in the press box and will take instructions directly from them. This position will follow a script during gamedays and will need to take initiative at times. DJ Perform in front of fans on gamedays. Be innovative with song ideas but also follow instructions of the Gameday Presentation Manager. This position will follow a script during gamedays bull will need to take initiative at times. You will be required to learn Sound Director technology to incorporate sound effects into gamedays. Show Us You Can IT knowledge Extremely detail oriented Strong ability to receive direction in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with hockey Ability to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays Excellent Interpersonal Skills – must work well with others at all levels of organization Prior experience with gameday entertainment is preferred
