Independent Contractors are responsible for:
Event-Based Sales and Marketing:
Represent VTG at various high-energy events (sports games, concerts, fairs, expos, etc.) Engage with attendees, generate leads, and sell travel packages in fast-paced environments Meet and exceed sales targets through proactive lead generation Adapt quickly to different event environments and audience demographics
Travel Package Promotion and Sales:
Implement effective strategies to sell premium vacation packages Clearly communicate the value and benefits of vacation ownership Stay updated on product offerings and industry trends
Self-Management and Operational Excellence:
Demonstrate high levels of self-motivation and ability to work independently Manage your own schedule, travel arrangements, and day-to-day operations Track and report sales performance accurately and promptly Maintain meticulous records for commission and expense tracking Continuously improve skills through our structured training process
Role-Specific Duties:
For Sales Representatives:
Develop fundamental sales skills and product knowledge Build consistent performance to qualify for higher commission tiers Learn from established industry professionals
For Sales Closers:
Execute advanced closing strategies in high-value situations Maintain exceptional conversion rates Develop specialized market knowledge
For Team Builders:
Build and develop your own sales team Identify, recruit, and mentor sales talent with high potential Lead by example, demonstrating elite techniques Guide teams to exceed performance targets
Highly Preferred Qualifications:
Experience as a 1099 Independent Contractor Experience in timeshare marketing package sales (mini-vacs/OPCs)
Required Qualifications:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Self-motivated with strong organizational abilities are required Strong willingness to travel nationally and travel experience Adaptability and comfort with change in a growing business Professional presentation and exceptional people skills Proficiency with digital tools for reporting and communication
