Ahoy! Paddle Pub Pensacola is a fun and eco-friendly party boat that hosts two-hour leisure cruises and are seeking highly energetic, friendly, and outgoing party hosts/emcees to join our team! If you enjoy being on the water and the outdoors, are a self-starter, like to dance, laugh, and thrive in a dynamic environment, then this is the boat party for you!

RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role, youll be the heart and soul of our boat excursions, solely responsible for creating unforgettable experiences for our guests. Youll get up in front of 20 passengers to deliver enthusiasm and hype up our guests to create the most memorable outdoor social experience in Pensacola. You must have strong confidence and superior social skills. You will foster connections, ensure guest safety, and provide exceptional hospitality. Your duties will include capturing memorable moments through pics/videos, initiating and encouraging guests to dance and participate in games by speaking loudly in front of a large group, actively queueing songs of different genres throughout the experience, you should have a strong knowledge of music genres or be resourceful to keep the party going and engaged in dancing, and igniting a fun and lively atmosphere. You will also be responsible for cleaning the boat prior to departure, checking in guests, communicating with the guests, Captain, and management about any issues, and cleaning the boat after each trip. This is an active role, you are expected to be constantly interacting with the guests, not just as a host/emcee of their experience, but being a part of their group and celebrations! No previous boating experience is required, as the necessary boat knowledge will be incorporated into our training process. You must be able to lift/carry 20-50lbs (ex: coolers). You need high energy and must be comfortable being in close proximity to people, as you will be constantly moving around a moving vessel and find yourself in close quarters. You must be comfortable working in an outdoor setting exposed to the elements, as we sail rain or shine. Candidates with sales experience, management, serving, bartending, hospitality, real estate, or any other experience engaging with different cultures and personalities are all encouraged to apply!

EARNINGS & HOURS

Hosts will be paid a set amount per hour plus large tips (averaging a minimum of $30-60 per hour total take-home pay). This is primarily a part-time position and on the weekends. There are unique circumstances for the highest caliber performers to earn full-time work, given their availability and consistency. However, part-time hours should be expected when applying.

AVAILABILITY

We need you to have open availability Friday evening through Sunday, as this is primarily a weekend position. We are also open every day of the season, including holidays (Memorial Day, Labor Day, 4th of July).

IMPORTANT ABOUT APPLYING

•We are a US Coast Guard federally regulated company and all staff will have to pass and maintain clean drug tests. This currently includes the use of marijuana and other substances of abuse.
