Our Group Coordinators are at the heart of our group operation andhave a direct impact on the overall experience of our grouptravelers. As a Royal Caribbean expert, you’ll help our groupguests make the most of their cruise vacation by coordinatingactivities and arrangements for group meetings, conferences, andfunctions. In this highly visible role, you’ll work with ourdepartment heads to plan function details such as spacerequirements, time schedule, food and beverage service, stageusage, sound, lighting, and video.

Career snapshot:

• Maintains desk hours throughout the cruise to meet with grouprepresentatives. Responsible for the scheduling of the ConferenceCenter, Executive Boardroom, Multi-media room and the BusinessServices areas
• Consults with representatives of client group or organization toplan details such as number of persons expected, display spacedesired, food service schedule, etc.
• Resolves conflicts quickly and efficiently and providesalternative arrangements as needed; calculates additional costs asneeded
• Directs workers in preparing banquet and convention rooms, anderecting displays, exhibits, equipment, etc.
