• Rhino Staging Florida is a labor company in the “live event industry” and we are looking to hire an Lighting Engineer (L1) to join our crew for concerts, festivals, and corporate events in the South Florida area. Candidates must work proficiently on the Avolites Tiger Touch II or a recent predecessor console.
Candidates must submit a polished resume and work history. •Applicants with a specific certification on Avolite consoles (specific to the Tiger Touch II) should submit that to the recruiter if invited for an interview.
Applicants should provide a list of references and have a reputation of service excellence when interacting with clients and VIP’s. Rhino Staging Florida employs trained, qualified and enthusiastic individuals that are passionate about their craft and the role they play in bringing meaningful events to audiences all across the country. Lighting Engineer (L1) Role and Skill Proficiencies Able to set up, operate and troubleshoot lighting console(s) including patching and running cables to instruments and universes, set stage wash, gobos, program chase and other show specific sequences
Interact with client, VIP’s, performers in a positive manner to handle show workflow and show or script changes •Virtual assessment will be held by the Rhino Staging Florida recruiter, and production team lead. Mandatory pre-hire assessment required! • New hires must read-through and comply with Rhino Staging policies and procedures. STAGE CREW WORK SCHEDULE

This is an 

ON-CALL POSITION

 with varying work hours and schedules. We are a 24-hour company; 7 days a week plus, holidays.

STARTING RATE OF PAY

$50 PER

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. on your own
Reliable transportation
Must be willing to work flexible hours.

NO SET WEEKLY SCHEDULE

Must be willing to work under varying weather conditions
Must be willing to work cohesively with teammates and supervisors
Must be willing to wear appropriate attire for concert / corporate events
Must understand general AV industry terms and fundamental principles
Must be willing to work roles as both a technician and stagehand
Have a strong understanding of audio signal flow
Able to patch audio snakes, audio amp racks, and mic backline equipment
Experience with placing wireless mics and setting up clear-com systems
Knowledgeably assist an audio engineer.

Hours will vary! We are a 24-hour company, seven days a week, plus holidays.
