Karaoke Host/DJ Danger Zone Entertainment Hannibal, MO 63401 Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and engaging Karaoke host to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for music and entertainment, with the ability to create an enjoyable atmosphere for guests at various events. As a Karaoke host you will be responsible for selecting and playing music, interacting with the audience, and ensuring a memorable experience for all attendees. Responsibilities Curate and mix music playlists tailored to different events and audiences. Set up and operate sound equipment, including speakers, microphones, and mixers. Engage with guests through public speaking, making announcements, and encouraging participation. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest requests and inquiries promptly. Assist with heavy lifting of equipment as needed during setup and breakdown of events. Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times while performing. Requirements Must be 21 years or older Truck or van preferred Proven experience as a Karaoke host or in a similar role is preferred. Strong public speaking skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences. Excellent customer service skills to ensure guest satisfaction. Knowledge of various music genres and trends to cater to different crowds. Ability to dance or engage in physical activity while performing is a plus. Experience in bartending or working in hospitality can enhance guest interactions. Must be able to lift heavy equipment (up to 50 pounds) as part of setup duties.
